Openings in the St. Claude Arts District on Saturday, August 9, 6 – 9 pm (unless otherwise noted) include:

"Comic Book Diplomacy," an exhibition by Christopher Saucedo, "Scheduled Implosions" by Hannah Allen, and "Actual Size," a pop-up exhibition by Cheryl Hayes, all at Good Children Gallery (4037 St. Claude Ave).

Leah DeVun's exhibition of photographs, "Lead and Follow," Elaine Bradford's collection of masks and costume, Jonathan Leach's two- and three-dimensional maps, and Emily Link's "stories of the supernatural and the divine," all at The Front (4100 St. Claude Ave).

"Counterpart," a solo show by guest curator and artist Michael Anaian (Professor, University of North Carolina - Greensboro), in addition to "The Figure and Narrative," a group show curated by Anaian, both at the UNO-St. Claude Gallery (2429 St. Claude Ave).

The opening reception for "True Colors," a group show by 50 LGBTQ artists, at Press Street's Antenna Gallery (3718 St. Claude Ave).

An exhibition of work by the Nashville-based collective COOP at Staple Goods Gallery (1340 St. Roch Ave).

"Number Stations," a group show organized by Ron Bennett, at the Second Story Gallery (2372 St. Claude Ave).

The receptions are free and open to the public.
